These are created by etching the surface (front or back) by sand blasting. Our technique uses the RapidMask adhesive for our artwork mask. Then we sand blast with the the CrystalBlast Elite machine. I believe their website shows a newer version than our system but is looks the same.
Our projects include some sandcravings that are inlayed with paint.
