A deeply etched image of an anchor cross is centered on the back of the glass tray. The etched design is on the back leaving the top surface smooth. This design is permanent and does not fade or wash out.

The sand-carved (sandblasted) image is deeper than the chemical etching process and is a deeper and smoother image than the laser etched. The laser-etched image can be recognized by the small lines tracing out the image. The sand carving method is textured. Upon close examination, you can see variations in the depth of the image. No two trays will be the same.

There is a 0.25-inch raised lip around the edge of the glass tray.

The three glass feet are an integral part of the tray and cannot be removed.
